Senior Infrastructure Technician

Who is the Procano team? 

To create the best customer experience, we have gathered some of the sharpest IT minds in the country. Together, we are 35 employees, spread across our offices in Oslo and Porsgrunn. We are a good mix of people, ranging from experienced heads to promising youngsters, all with their unique perspectives and ideas.  

Our Oslo office is located in Skøyen, where we have fresh and newly renovated premises. Here, we fire up Mario Kart on the big screen, organize after-work events, and enjoy delicious meals.  

In addition to being a team that likes to have fun together, we are also very focused on learning and developing. With us, there is always room for questions or suggestions for improvements, and we are quick to turn around and do things differently when someone comes up with a good idea.  

What will you work with? 

We are currently looking for a senior infrastructure technician for our Oslo office. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and solve complex challenges in a dynamic and dedicated team consisting of 5 other senior technicians. Some of your key responsibilities will include: 

• Development of architecture and design for IT solutions in the cloud 

• Responsible for modernization projects to ensure continuous improvement 

• Support for other teams in complex issues 

• Active participation in development, with a focus on integrations and automation through, for example, Azure Functions, PowerShell, and RPA 

• Operation of our cloud-based operational platform with more than 5000 endpoints/servers and over 1500 network devices 

About the technology stack: 

Procano is a leader in the implementation and operation of advanced IT solutions, especially in: 

• Azure and Microsoft 365 

• Security solutions for endpoints, identity, infrastructure, and servers, with a focus on Azure infrastructure 

• Network and security services including firewall configuration and Zero Trust / SASE in the cloud 

• Modernization and automation through tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, Docker containers, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps 

• Integration of third-party services such as Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, Cloudflare, and many more to ensure standardization and quality 

Who are we looking for? 

We envision that you have: 

• Relevant competence and experience in the Microsoft 365 portfolio and Microsoft Azure 

• Good expertise in modern IT infrastructure, such as Windows and Linux servers, Cisco Meraki, container technology, and databases 

• Basic competence in coding/scripting 

• Good ability to troubleshoot complex challenges 

• Good Norwegian and English language skills, both oral and written 

It is an advantage if you have experience with: 

• Data center infrastructure 

• Larger projects with tight deadlines  

• Building and operating a large platform 

• Certification in Azure, Microsoft 365, Cisco/Cisco Meraki/CCNA, or other relevant certifications
