The consulting company CEMAsys has grown from 10 to 40 employees in recent years and has ambitions to grow even more. With advanced solutions from Procano, they are equipped for growth on a global level. We have had a chat with the CEO of CEMAsys about their collaboration with Procano. 

CEMAsys is a consulting company specializing in sustainability that provides solutions for the entire Environmental Social Governance (ESG) segment. By combining innovative system solutions and analytical expertise, they provide their clients with methods and tools to develop and improve their sustainability strategies. The company was established in 2007 as one of the first specialized consulting firms in climate change and sustainability in Norway. Today, CEMAsys has more than 400 Scandinavian and international clients from publicly traded and private companies in all industries, as well as organizations in the public sector. 

Better information flow with Microsoft

It has been important to have a simplified and automated information flow internally for CEMAsys. Together with us at Procano, they are equipped for growth with a clean Microsoft platform. This makes it easier to onboard new employees in the consulting company. 

– We are now working towards the goal of processing 100 percent of our internal work and delivery processes through a SaaS-based business platform. It provides us with a scalable business model that can be used as a platform for our planned global growth from 2022 to 2028,  says Jan Willy Larsen, CEO of CEMAsys.

IT security with solutions from Procano

Previously, CEMAsys operated on a simple IT operations platform without synergy between the applications. This resulted in many problems and a low degree of information flow among the employees. 

The CEO of CEMAsys had a clear plan for the company to be a leader in technology within its segment, and together with a consultant from us, a strategy was developed for the creation of an “All Microsoft Cloud” solution, says Morten Halvorsen, senior advisor at Procano, before continuing: Today, we provide full-service IT operations and management with a focus on cloud services from Microsoft, where the company utilizes automated integrations between ERP systems, Dynamics, SharePoint, and Teams. Procano also provides other infrastructure with Microsoft Azure, Cisco Meraki Network, and pre-configured workstations. In addition to having invested in a more efficient work life using Microsoft's platform, Procano has set up full security for the consulting company. CEMAsys is very concerned about high security, both to protect their clients and their own data. 

We have chosen to outsource these tasks to an external specialist. This has made it possible for us to focus all our energy internally on our own core products, technology, and process goals.
